Prior to application, all surfaces must be clean, dry and dust-free. Top Fire Stop Paint can be applied directly to plasterboards, walls and smooth finish woods. For difficult, rough or porous surfaces, use one coat of Top Fire Stop Primer first, or an acrylic primer. For metal surfaces always use one coat of Top Fire Stop Primer or an alkydic anticorrosive primer for metal first before applying to coats of Top Fire Stop paint.
