Top Fire Stop Paint can be applied directly to plasterboards, walls and smooth finish woods. For difficult, rough or porous surfaces, use one coat of Top Fire Stop Primer first, or an acrylic primer. For metal surfaces always use one coat of Top Fire Stop Primer or an alkydic anticorrosive primer for metal first before applying to coats of Top Fire Stop paint.\t\t<\/p>\n<h2>Wood<\/h2>\n<p>2 coats Top Firestop with 2 hours drying time between coats.<\/p>\n<p>Paint by brush is applied with 1 vertical coat and 1 horizontal coat.<\/p>\n<p>Paint by roller is applied with 1 vertical coat and 1 horizontal coat.<\/p>\n<p>Paint by spray guns and nozzles, 2 coats, with stated size for intumescent paints.<\/p>\n<p>Environmental conditions affect drying times.
